Karen is probably best known for one of her many lead roles at Sight & Sound’s 2,000 seat Millennium Theater as Mrs. Noah in the renowned production NOAH, THE MUSICAL, in Lancaster, PA. Her inspirational speaking combined with singing and storytelling has taken her all over the United States, Italy, Germany, South America, Asia and Israel. She has performed in concert with many of the Gaither Homecoming Artists, the Brooklyn Tabernacle Soloists, and as an opening artist for well known performers such as Sandy Patti.
Growing up in a military family, Karen has a special place in her heart for those who serve our country. She was invited by the Chaplain Corps of the US Army in South East Asia to provide ministry for military troops and their families in Korea and she has produced and performed in VOICES FOR AMERICA, a musical and drama that honors the heritage of America. She also travels as a Performing Artist in Israel to speak and perform throughout the Holy Land.
Although she spent seven years with Sight & Sound performing to audiences of over 6,000 on a daily basis, her desire to reach out to people with the hope and peace found in Jesus Christ led her to establish Heartsongs Ministries, Inc which allows her to travel extensively. Karen loves to share what Christ has done for her with a unique combination of ministry using heartfelt music, heartwarming dramatic moments, and heart touching inspirational and motivational speaking.
Audience members always comment that they are captured by Karen’s voice and captivated by her radiant Christian spirit!
