Book Jennie Afman Dimkoff.
Jennie Afman Dimkoff is an international speaker, trainer and biblical storyteller, speaking for women’s retreats, conferences, on college campuses and for military wives and military personnel. She has spoken for arena events, including Heritage Keepers and Time out for Women. She is the President of Storyline Ministries, Inc., the author and storyteller for Kids’ Time, and she serves on the staff of Speak Up With Confidence Conferences with her sister Carol Kent.
A gifted storyteller, Jennie has authored several books: two with the Revell division of Baker Publishing entitled Passionate Faith and Unexpected Grace, and other work she has written has been published by publishing houses including NAV Press, Honor Books, Zondervan and Cook Communications. Her latest book, Miracle on Hope Hill, which she has written in partnership with her sister, Carol Kent, was published by the Howard Division of Simon and Schuster.
Passionate about women’s ministries, Jennie helped establish the Cornerstone University Women’s Leadership Conference, and has worked with many women’s ministry leaders both as a speaker for their organizations, and as a mentor, and encourager. She serves on the Board of Trustees for Cornerstone University and the Grand Rapids Theological Seminary in Grand Rapids, Michigan, on the Board of Speak Up for Hope, a non-profit organization that encourages the families of incarcerated individuals, and on the Board of Directors for ODB (Our Daily Bread) Ministries. Jennie travels as speaker for ODB Ministries and counts it a privilege to have represented shared her faith & represented the ministry in Taiwan, and for multiple conferences in Hong Kong and Brazil. She also is a member of AWSA, the Advanced Writer and Speakers’ Association.
A meaningful addition to her speaking schedule has been the frequent opportunity to speak for college audiences for various university events. Starting at the University of Michigan, she has spoken for Campus Crusade outreach events at many other universities and she laughingly admits that after years of speaking for “polite church women” at retreats and conferences around the country, it was quite a personal growth experience to speak to young, interactive, mixed gender audiences that sometimes “yell back at me!”
As the wife of a retired Lt. Col. in the Air Force Reserves and the mother of a young Army Captain, Jennie is also passionate about saying, “Yes!” when the opportunities to minister to military wives and female military personnel present themselves. In the last several years she has spoken at military events in Seoul, Korea, Germany, Hawaii, Pennsylvania, and others. “What a privilege it is to bring inspiration, laughter, hope, and encouragement to women who are far from home and often are serving as single parents while their husbands are deployed.”
Married to her best friend, Probate Court Judge Graydon Dimkoff, Jennie is mom to their two children who are both now married.
