Lisa Troyer is a wife and mother of two children. She is also a Christian radio personality and worship leader,
Pursuing her calling and passion for women’s ministry since 1998, she has been involved, since co-founding Circle of Friends Ministries, Inc., in the outreach and encouragement of women in her region for over a decade. Since the debut of her program on Moody Radio in 2005, there has been a steady increase of invitations to lead worship and speak at various women’s ministry events. She also voices and produces national evangelistic spots for NEED HIM and American Family Radio.
Active on the business side of the music industry for many years as a copyright administrator for what is now Provident/Integrity Music, as well as a consultant for well-known European Christian recording artists, Lisa was surprised when God began opening doors for her to begin recording and leading worship at women’s events. “I’ve always loved to worship and during my time in Nashville enjoyed singing demos for songwriters. I just never thought I would be releasing my own projects, but I’m enjoying this opportunity.”
Lisa has enjoyed ministering alongside other women’s ministry leaders such as Carol Kent, Lisa Harper, Kim Hill, Sharon Jaynes and Virelle Kidder.
In 2009 Lisa Troyer & The Circle of Friends Worship Team released two singles to Christian Radio. Both FOREVER and POUR YOUR LOVE DOWN became Top 20 songs on Christian Radio Weekly’s AC Global chart and appear on the album A PLACE TO BELONG, produced by UK worship leader/songwriter John Perry.
Lisa has released two earlier praise and worship projects: Healing Grace (2001), raising thousands of dollars for Middle East outreach, and Desire of My Heart (2005)
Lisa’s next release ‘MEET ME AT THE WELL – The Worship Project’ will be released in 2010. This project is based on Virelle Kidder’s devotional book of the same title published by Moody Publishers.
