Dr. Sabrina D. Black a woman after God’s own heart is an author, professor, counselor, mentor and Bible scholar. Sabrina is the Clinical Director of Abundant Life Counseling Center, which emphasizes spiritual values. She is passionate about glorifying God, amplifying His Word, and edifying His people. Dr. Black is an advocate for the lost, and a living testimony for those who desire to achieve the abundant life.

Dr. Sabrina D. Black is a national and international speaker for conferences, retreats and workshops. Her dynamic message of life’s struggles, temptations and triumphs, challenges others to deal with the real issues of Christian living. She is a warm, witty, woman of God whose messages connect with audiences that are multicultural, cross-generational and of various denominations. She is a much sought after consultant for schools, churches, corporations and organizations. Dr. Sabrina D. Black is adjunct faculty at Ashland Theological Seminary, Cornerstone University and for Christian Research and Development. Sabrina is president of the National Biblical Counselors Association, chairperson of the Black African American Association of Christian Counselors and a member of the American Counseling Association, International Association of Marriage and Family Counseling and the Michigan Counseling Association. She is also the founder of Global Projects a non-profit 501c3. Sabrina’s goal is to help God’s people live the Abundant Life through hope, help, and healing!

Featured on numerous local and national radio and television broadcast, Sabrina has also won the Annual Herald Award for Religious Broadcasting twice for a weekly radio call program she co-hosted. She is also active with the WRAP Group (Writers Resources and Accountability for Publishing), the American Christian Writers – Detroit Chapter, the Advanced Writers and Speakers Association, and the Lydia Circle of Business and Professional Women.

Sabrina lives in Detroit, Michigan with her husband Warren Jose’ Black. She has one son and four grandchildren. She is an overseas Missionary and has been to Romania, London, the West Indies, and has also made over ten trips to several parts of Africa teaching, preaching and reaching the masses with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Sabrina serves in full time ministry. Since Sabrina accepted the Lord in 1986, she has been singing God’s praises and giving testimonies of His goodness. Like the woman at the well, she is making a local and global impact by telling others about the Man (Jesus) who changed her life.
