Book Beth Booram.

For more than 25 years, Beth Booram has extended herself to women as a friend, mentor, teacher and pastor. She longs to see women move from the margins of insignificance to the center of being known and loved by God.

Beth spent 16 years on staff with Campus Crusade for Christ. While on staff she spoke at numerous retreats and conferences. Most recently, she served as the Director of Women’s Ministry at a 6,500-member church. During her time there she developed a Women’s Ministry that served more than 500 women weekly.

Beth ministers from a deep reservoir of compassion. She speaks openly of her own brokenness and invites women to encounter the healing love of Christ. Her speaking style is warm, artful, interactive and disarming. Beth has spoken to small intimate gatherings as well as audiences of more than a thousand.

She is the author of several books for women, including Women who Mattered to Jesus and Women who Mattered to God. She is currently writing a book called The Wide Open Spaces of God.

Beth makes her home in Fishers, Indiana with her husband, Dave, and their four almost grown children.

“Beth is an excellent communicator who engages her entire audience. She speaks from the heart and shares stories that are applicable to all. Her material is relevant to where women are today and her knowledge of Scripture is impeccable. Her ability to lead was seen in the way the women received her and her material, as well as through those who were working with her. I’ve always heard that good leaders have followers and that a good leader also knows how to follow. Beth exemplifies both of these. She is a servant leader who is both very capable and humble. I highly recommend Beth in her leadership and speaking abilities…and so much more!”

“Not only have I had the pleasure to participate in a women’s study led by Beth, but I also have had the honor of having Beth lead Sunday chapel at the faith-based inpatient eating disorder clinic where I currently work as a residential counselor in Noblesville, Indiana. Beth has an ability to provide a safe and gentle environment wherein a person is able to explore the heart of God as well as the intricacies of their own heart. I feel very privileged to know Beth and am very thankful that the women I work with have had the opportunity to experience the gentle love that Beth has to offer. Beth is authentic and is not afraid to tackle the tough questions that arise from people in their search to understand and know God. I would highly recommend Beth’s teachings to those who are searching to deepen their relationship with the living God.”

“I have attended two events Beth Booram has led and I have been impressed with her warm, gentle speaking style and her ability to convey deep spiritual truths, gleaned from her own faith journey. Her message is penetrating because most women have experienced similar difficulties and questions about life and God. Using a blend of scripture, insight, art, and meditational guidance, Beth leads one to experience God even in the midst of struggles, releasing women from the shame of their fears, doubts, and questions. She speaks volumes with her gentle, spiritual presence.”

“We have known Beth for many years. In her leadership & speaking she brings great warmth, kindness and an obvious desire to experience an honest walk with God. You will appreciate her deep thoughtfulness as she leads you in processing your own life’s journey. Through her message you will be encouraged to tenaciously cling to God in both the good and hard times.”

“I have known Beth Booram for several years, first as a leader of a very large and successful Women’s Ministries group within a well-known Midwestern church and then as a writer. Beth’s philosophy of spiritual leadership has always been biblical and theological; she cares about the complex needs of women and does not succumb to the temptation to present soft, user-friendly (at the expense of the truth that makes one grow) venues; she does not play it safe though her style is engaging and winsome. Her writing upon which her speaking is based again shows her complex understanding that biblical truth must be presented in a hermeneutically sound way while imaginatively touching the minds and souls and spirits of her listeners. Recently, when I was unable to take a major speaking engagement for a women’s conference sponsored by a seminary, I recommended her, and she was brought in to take my place. I recommend her highly.”

“Beth is a wonderful speaker who listens to God speak to her before she speaks to anyone else. At our Women in the Word Conference, her first message to us, “The Wide Open Spaces of God” set a beautiful platform for unity in a multi-culture conference. We were encouraged through this message, based on the story of Peter and Paul, to not be afraid of what God has planned for us when we move out of our comfort zones and completely trust Him in the “wide open spaces of His faithful love.” Over and over again, we heard from those who attended, “God brought her here just for me.”
